Here at Lower Moss Wood there is always something going on and we would love you to get involved. We hold our own events around the reserve throughout the year and entry can be purchased from this page whenever available.

We also attend lots of events outside of the reserve itself including The Royal Cheshire County Show and other local events.

EASTER EVENT 2023 Gruffalo in the Wood

Join the LMW team for some fun and chocolatey treats on Sunday 9th April 2023.

Keep your eyes peeled as you hunt for clues in our beautiful 18 acre nature reserve – you never know what creatures you might spot – perhaps even a Gruffalo!

Each group sets off at 15 minute intervals, so you’ll have space and time to enjoy your time in the wood.  (Don’t be put off by the fact the bookings look like they only last 15 mins!  You are welcome to stay and enjoy refreshments in our classroom once you have finished exploring the wood).

Please be sure to book and pay for adults as well as children – this helps us to ensure we have enough refreshments for all.

Each child will go home with an Easter Egg of their very own and some lovely memories too!

All funds raised at this event will go directly to ensure the charity can continue it’s vital work, rehabilitating and releasing our precious native wildlife back to the wild.  We cannot do what we do without people like you!
